The Process

Sacred Spaces offers diversified services for residential and commercial design including design concept and development, environmental consultation, and land use analysis.

The 6 Stage Process includes:

(1) Initial Consultation

A sense of connection with you and the landscape at hand is developed through discussion and site examination.

Upon receipt of consultancy fee we will meet to discuss:

Personal considerations-
aesthetics, budget, design sensibility, health concerns, interests, lifestyle and needs.
Spatial Considerations-
review of existing landscape conditions and elements, vitality of the landscape and energetics of space. Use of colour, form, geometry, scale, shape and texture.
Practical/Ecological Considerations-
sustainable approaches to land use, plant materials and soil quality.

(2) Site Measurement

Measure up the site for production of scaled landscape concept.

(3) Landscape Concept & Presentation

A landscape concept is produced and presented to the client for discussion. Changes, if needed, will then be incorporated into final plan as agreed.

(4) Final Plan Presentation

Upon agreement to move forwards and deposit received (*)

(5) Project Construction & Site Supervision

Includes:

Tendering project (if required) to contractor(s).
Nursery/Supplier visit(s), to inspect quality of plant and other materials chosen.
Performing site inspection meetings during construction and upon completion.

(6) Completetion

Final meeting.
Final Payment

‘Sacred Spaces’ creations are private arrangements. It is a confidential service and under no circumstances are client details disclosed.

(*) An agreed consultancy fee is required to initiate activities. When agreement is reached, 50% of the total fee is to be paid. The balance and any extras will become payable upon completion.
